CMI’s 2021 program calendar Introduces Virtual Artist Manager and CMI One-On-One
Canada’s Music Incubator (CMI) has confirmed the company’s professional development schedule for 2021, which includes the core programs (Artist Entrepreneur, AE West, and Artist Manager), and features the addition of Virtual Artist Manager and CMI One-On-One. Currently, CMI is unable to confirm when physical programs will resume and will return to regular programming only when permitted by Public Health.
Virtual Artist Manager was born out of necessity and adapting to the challenges presented by COVID-19. It will now be a fixture (May/June) on CMI’s annual schedule. The virtual offering provides artist managers with much-needed scheduling flexibility and makes the program more accessible
CMI One-On-One is a year-round opportunity for artists, managers and music industry professionals to meet with CMI mentors about individual priorities. Meetings can be booked in bundles of three and are scheduled at the convenience of the artist, manager or music industry professional based on the availability of CMI mentors. Users can access one or multiple CMI mentors based on the help they need.
Applications for all 2021 programs are now open. Artist Entrepreneur has been offered since 2012, AE West since 2017, and Artist Manager since 2015.
Ongoing access to CMI mentors and industry resources are included at no additional cost.
