Canada’s Music Incubator (CMI) Moves Remaining 2020 Core Programs Online; Artist Manager and AE West Applications Open
CMI is moving the remaining 2020 core professional development programs (Artist Manager and AE West) online. This decision ensures the safety of all artists, managers, employees, mentors and our community. Each program will be condensed to a few hours of daily screen time while maintaining the high standards and customization expected from CMI and offered at a reduced price.
Applications for both Artist Manager and AE West (offered in partnership with the National Music Centre) are now open. These programs are designed to help emerging artists and artist managers across all genres build their careers and businesses through customized and ongoing mentorship.
Artists and managers will work with CMI’s team of mentors to develop their craft, business and confidence in the areas of revenue development, marketing, branding, social media, publicity, streaming, radio promotion, copyright, royalty collection, touring, funding, team building, contracts, and more. Artists will also experience a series of customized creative workshops, including live performance, vocals coaching and songwriting collaborations.
