DAY ONES RETURNS JANUARY 29 AT THE EL MOCAMBO!

As an extension of its commitment to nurturing emerging talent, Canada’s Music Incubator (CMI) is thrilled to announce their Day Ones Toronto concert on Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at El Mocambo, which will feature performances by Katherine Li, Flo Olavarria, Seyblu, and Hiroki Tanaka.

“Day Ones is a national concert series we started in 2025 that showcases CMI-supported artists,” says Jesse Mitchell, Vice-President, CMI.  “Day Ones is here to foster that community of early believers for the artists we support through our professional development programs and other live events. As the series evolves, we plan to bring it to other markets across the country.

Day Ones will feature an all Toronto-based performance lineup including;  22-year-old Chinese Singer-Songwriter, Katherine Li, whose streams have totaled 85M on Spotify alone, Flo Olavarria, a pop-rock artist, songwriter, and producer who blends witty storytelling with infectious melodies, Seyblu, a R&B, jazz, and soul artist creating unforgettable live experiences, and finally, guitarist, singer-songwriter, Hiroki Tanaka.
